PROJECT DETAILS

The brief: The client wanted a summerhouse that would stand out as a feature in the garden, visible from the kitchen’s large sliding doors, while also providing practical storage space. They were looking for something colourful, uplifting, and full of personality.

Interior: The interior is kept simple with white walls and ceiling and a rich dark flooring colour. Modern chrome dimmer light switches add a subtle, contemporary touch, while a custom-made stained glass window introduces colour and creates dynamic light patterns throughout the day.

Exterior: The exterior features 14 carefully chosen colours, creating a playful yet cohesive look. A generous overhang and dark painted timber decking provide outdoor living space, while a discreet back door leads to the alley behind the property, making it easy to move bicycles and bulky items into the garden.

The result: The finished summerhouse is a true statement piece: bright, colourful, and functional. It delights from both inside and outside the home, bringing joy to the client while also providing functionality and versatility.
